Installation instructions for the Chrome Extension

This page provides instructions for installing the Manufabric SyncPlus Chrome Extension and configuration to enable 2-way contact synchronization between Gmail contacts and Manufabric.

Quick Steps for experienced computer users:

  1. Install the Manufabric SyncPlus Chrome Extension on your Chrome browser from here.
  2. Enable the extension by opening an email in your Gmail and pushing the Manufabric Icon in the upper right corner.
  3. Authorize SyncPlus to read and write to your Gmail account
  4. Sign in from SyncPlus with your company’s server address and your user token.

Installing Manufabric SyncPlus for Gmail

Detailed Steps:

  1. Install the Manufabric SyncPlus Chrome Extension on your Chrome browser from here.
  2. Trigger the extension by opening an email in your Gmail and clicking the Manufabric icon in the upper right corner of the open email.   Left click “Authorize”.

3. You will be asked to choose your account.  Select your work account email address.

5.  Accept the permissions requested by Manufabric using “Allow“.

6. Once the “Allow” window closes, go back to your Gmail inbox.  Left-click on your user/email address on the right side toolbar.

*7. (Optional) If you have more than one Manufabric account (your company runs two instances of Manufabric), select “Login with a different username” in the dialog above, enter your user name and password that you use to login to Manufabric (your Manufabric password, not your Gmail password).
